报告摘要：We review some results of tensor representations and tensor eigenvalues for big data, then introduce their applications to image and video, especially to the background modeling in video analysis. We also propose some relevant questions to LLM and AI.

报告人简介：彭立中，北京大学数学系本科和硕士研究生毕业，于瑞典斯德哥尔摩大学获博士学位。历任北大数学系讲师、副教授和教授，现已退休。主要从事调和分析及小波分析的理论和应用研究。曾在海内外多个学术期刊发表论文120余篇。曾任北京大学数学科学学院副院⻓、数学系主任；中国数学会常务理事及秘书⻓；曾任《Analysis Theory and Its Applications》杂志副主编；两次获国家教委科技进步⼆等奖；获得国家教委、人事部优秀留学回国⼈员荣誉称号；精品课程《数学分析》主持人。
