报告题目:Boundary regularity in hypoelliptic kinetic equations

报告摘要:The interplay between transport and degenerate diffusion in kinetic equations gives rise to hypoelliptic smoothing effect. Yet singular boundary sets inherent to kinetic transport flows impede the gain of regularity up to the boundary from reaching a level comparable to that achieved in the interior. We will discuss recent advances on boundary regularity for the kinetic Fokker-Planck-Landau model, highlighting sharp boundary behaviours of solutions.

报告人简介:Yuzhe Zhu received a PhD from École Normale Supérieure-Université PSL and holds an instructorship at the University of Chicago, with publications in Kinetic and Related Models, Mathematics in Engineering, Pure and Applied Analysis, among other journals.
