报告题目1：有限单群分类的若干几何应用

报告摘要：The study of highly transitive geometric structures is a main theme in finite geometry, and this aspect of geomery is known as transformation geometry. The important work of Jacques Tits builds a connection between group theory and geometry, and the classification of finite simple groups (CFSG) has played a prominent role in the development of finite geometry. In this talk, I will report some recent work on generalized quadrangles by using CFSG.

报告人简介：冯涛，浙江大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师。2008年博士毕业于北京大学数学科学学院，先后在新加坡南洋理工大学、美国特拉华大学做博士后，2011年8月加入浙大数学科学学院。2021年获首届浙江大学沈善洪杰出青年提名奖。现为SCI期刊JCD和DCC编委会成员。目前主要是利用有限群论、置换群和代数数论等代数工具研究组合数学。

报告题目2：A graph discretization of vector Laplacian

报告摘要：As known, the scalar Laplacian gives the celebrated Laplacian matrix of a graph. In this paper, we determine the graph matrix presentation of vector Laplacian and obtain its nullify which is related to the second Betti number. As a result, a new spectral graph theory based on the graph Helmholtzion is to be expected.

报告人简介：王建锋，山东理工大学教授、博导，数学与统计学院副院长，山东省泰山学者、山东省高校“青创人才引育团队”负责人，主要从事图谱理论、图多项式、图距离等方面的研究，在Adv. Appl. Math.、J. Graph Theory、 J. Algebraic Combin.、Electron J. Combin.等发表论文90余篇，现主持一项国家自然科学基金面上项目，主持/参与完成多项国家和省基金；现任CSIAM图论组合及应用专委会委员、信息和通讯领域的数学专委会委员等。
