报告题目：Integral Transform and Langlands Conjecture

摘要：I start with the classical Branching Problem on representations of groups and explain further development of this problem. The main theme is to discuss the meaning of such a classical problem in automorphic forms and the Langlands program, which can be formulated by means of Integral Transforms.

报告人简介：江迪华教授，美国明尼苏达大学终身教授，美国数学会会士，我校数学系知名校友。他是研究自守表示理论及“数学界的大一统理论”——朗兰兹纲领的世界著名专家。1982年本科毕业于浙江师范学院。之后在华东师范大学获得硕士学位和在美国俄亥俄州立大学获得博士学位。江迪华教授先后在浙江师范大学、华东师范大学、美国俄亥俄州立大学、美国国家数学研究所、耶鲁大学、普林斯顿高等研究院等知名大学和研究机构工作，并于2004年任明尼苏达大学正教授。他先后获斯隆奖、西蒙斯奖。其研究结果发表在包括 Annals of Math., Invent. Math., Journal of AMS, Journal of EMS, Memoirs of AMS.等世界顶尖数学杂志。
