报告摘要:We derive binary Darboux transformations for matrix AKNS systems from a general result of bi-differential calculus, and consider corresponding reductions to matrix NLS systems. A crucial ingredient of these solution-generating methods is a Sylvester equation. Whereas typically soliton solutions are generated on the assumption that a condition known as “spectrum condition” holds, it had been observed by Manas that dark solitons in the defocusing NLS case correspond to “degenerate” solutions of the Lyapunov equation, where the spectrum condition is violated. We establish corresponding results for matrix versions of the NLS equation.
