报告摘要:The talk will present two oscillation phenomena in multi-scale (singular perturbation) systems, one concerns relaxation oscillations in planar systems of predator-prey type and the other one concerns transient oscillations in a three-dimensional, reversible Latka-Volterra system. For the first type of oscillations, possible degeneracy of the discriminant function is taken into account and criteria for the existence, uniqueness, and stability of relaxation oscillations will be presented. For the second type of oscillations, a pattern of multiple transient oscillations will be shown. Applications to relaxation oscillations in diffusive PDE systems and transient oscillations in bio-chemical reactions will be discussed.
报告人简介:易英飞,吉林大学柔性引进人才特聘教授,阿尔伯塔大学Killiam 讲席教授,佐治亚理工学院兼职教授,国家海外高层次引进人才、**讲座教授、**青年基金(B类)获得者。现担任JDDE杂志主编及JDE等十个杂志的编委。研究方向为动力系统与微分方程。
