报告摘要：We will talk about applications of the Hirota bilinear method to soliton equations in both(1+1)-dimensions and (2+1)-dimensions. The Hirota conditions for the existence of N-soliton solutions will be analyzed, and illustrative examples of bilinear equations which possess N-soliton solutions will be presented. In the case of generalized bilinear equations, lump wave, traveling wave and 2-soliton solutions will also be discussed.
