报告题目：Class Two Quotients of Finite Permutation Groups

报告摘要：Let G be a permutation group on a finite set and p be a prime. In this talk, we will present that the largest class two p-quotient of G is bounded by p^{n/p} (2^{3n/4} if p = 2), where n is the number of points moved by a Sylow p-subgroup of G. Further, we also list all groups whose largest class two p-quotients can reach such bound. This result follows up on the early work of Kovács and Praeger [Pac. J. Math.,1989], and its corollary also extends a result of Aschbacher and Guralnick [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.,1989].

专家简介：孟沆洋，上海大学理学院数学系副教授，西班牙瓦伦西亚大学基础数学博士，主要研究领域为有限群论及其表示。相关结果发表于Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Lond. Math. Soc.，Proc. Amer. Math.Soc.，J. Algebra等杂志。 获上海市2020年度扬帆计划项目、2020年度上海市引智人才XSC计划，2021年获 Baer Prize特别提名奖，主持国家自然科学基金青年项目一项。
