报告摘要: The index of a singular point is an important quantity which characterizes the topological structure of the singular point. In this talk, we will extend the index of singular point to piecewise smooth differential system. Firstly we generalize the well-known Poincare-Bendixson formula, which describe the relationship between the index of singular point of piecewise smooth differential system and the number of hyperbolic and elliptic sectors in a neighborhood of the singular point. And then using Cauchy index, we deduce an algebraic method to calculate the index of singular point for piecewise smooth differential system.

报告人简介：李时敏, 杭州师范大学数学学院教授，理学博士，硕士生导师，中国数学会奇异摄动专委会委员，研究方向为微分方程理论及其应用，主要研究希尔伯特第十六问题及其相关问题。在中国科学：数学，J. Differential Equations等国内外学术期刊上发表论文30余篇。近几年，主持国家自然科学基金面上项目和青年项目各1项，广东省自然科学基金2项，广州市科技创新研究专项项目1项。
