Abstract::In this my one-hour lecture, I would like to talk about the relation and/or interaction between two branches of mathematics, namely, between Differential Geometry (DG) and Soliton Theory (ST). I will try to describe the remarkable connections that exist between the classical differential geometry and modern ST. It is a very briefly review on the subject. Before go further, some comments in order. Initially, I wanted to give a full description of the connection between the geometry and nonlinear mathematical physics. But I quickly realized that this is not possible within the framework of one lecture.
个人简介:梅尔扎诺夫教授,哈萨克斯坦国立欧亚大学教授,哈萨克斯坦欧亚国际理论物理研究中心主任,其研究领域为一般相对论、宇宙学、孤立子理论、可积系统、微分几何等,近十年又对受重力影响的暗物质和暗能量现象开展研究。在孤立子理论中提出了以其名字命名的Myrzakulov 方程,在国际学术期刊发表论文200余篇,是哈萨克斯坦顶尖科学家。
