为促进我院留学生综合发展，充分发挥榜样示范作用，我院“对话·青春”第二十五讲于3月21日晚在学院一楼报告厅举行。本次活动邀请了三位优秀留学生分享经验，他们分别是我院软件工程全英文班Arnold K. Nyamabo 、教师教育学院Nkolo Ndjodo Leon-Marie，经管学院的Denny Henkel，学工办副主任邱洋海老师与学工办叶杭丹老师参加本次分享会。

In order topromote the comprehensive development of the international students, our college held the lecture “Talk with Youth- Experience sharing  by excellent international students” at the first floor lecture hall on Mar 21st.Three excellent internationalstudents areinvited to share their precious experience.They areArnold K. Nyamabo from the college of MC who majors in software engineering, Nkolo Ndjodo Leon-Marie from the college of TeacherEducation and Denny Henkel from the college of  Economics and Management. Mr. Qiu Yanghai, thedeputy director of the Students’ Affairs Office, and Miss Ye Hangdan,the teacher of theStudents’ Affairs Officeare also invited to attend the lecture.

 Nkolo Ndjodo Leon-Marie，教师教育学院比较教育学硕士，曾获浙江师范大学学术创新优秀奖，现已获得哲学博士和硕士学位，已发表文章十篇。分享过程中，Leon提到，家庭对他有很大的影响，在父母的培养下，他自小就对新鲜事物充满好奇，懂得辩证思考，处事耐心谨慎。他说，这些习惯对他多年的研究工作起着重要作用。他还提到在学习的过程中他受到了许多人的帮助，这些是他研究的基础。尽可能的做到最好是他的态度，在多年的学习、阅读、训练中始终如一，最终有了回报。

MasterNkolo Ndjodo Leon-Marie, whose major is comparative education, has alreadypublished10 papers, andhe was awarded as theExcellent Prize of the Academic Innovation in ZJNU,and he has the Ph.d degree in philosophy already.During his lecture, he mentioned that his family has a great influence on him.With the cultivation from his parents, he was curious about everything.He learned how to consider dialectical thinking and be patient as well as careful with the society.He said that thanks to his habit formed before, it’s very crucial to his research for so many years.He also mentionedthat with the help of lots of people, his research was going well.His attitude is consistent to be the best during his study, reading and training, which finally pays back.

  Arnold K. Nyamabo，我院软件工程全英文班学生，曾获中国政府优秀来华留学生奖学金，平均绩点4.33，专业排名第一。他认为学习不是一件轻松的事，拥有良好好的学习习惯和方法至关重要。在讲座上，他向大家分享了他的好习惯：今日事今日毕，不把任务留到第二天。他充分利用学校资源，与老师、教授密切交流。他来华这几年他收获颇丰，最大的收获是独立，这几年不再过分依赖老师，学会自己思考问题。在学习之余，他积极参加各项活动，他建议在座留学生们：劳逸结合，会更有助于学习的进步。

Arnold K. Nyamabo, whosemajor is software engineering (English) in MC, once received Chinese Government Scholarship for Excellent Overseas Students. His GPA is 4.33,whichmakes him the best in his major. He thought study well is not a piece of cake, the key factor is cultivating good habits and methods. He shared his own good habits duringhis lecture: If you can finish the thing today, never put it off till tomorrow. He makes full use of the universityresources, and keeps close touch with teachers and professors. He said he has gained a lot since hearrived in China, and to study independently is his greatest achievement. In the past few years, hedidn’t depend on his teachers too much and learned to think independently. Apart from studying all the time, he also participated in various activities. He suggested to combine study with the rest has much benefits to study improvement

  Denny Henkel ，ISU主席，MBA联合会主席，曾获院十佳留学生荣誉称号。Denny回想了就任主席时的经历，他带领团队举办排球比赛、才艺表演大赛、辩论赛等，成立合唱团与舞社。他说这些活动，不仅提升了自己的组织领导能力，还为自己在师大的生活增添了色彩，他为此感到十分自豪。他还特别提及他对运动的热爱，跑步、乒乓、羽毛球都不在话下。

Denny Henkel, the president of ISU and  IMBA, has won the honorary title of Top Ten Students. He recalled his experience ashe just held the post of the chairman. He led his team to organize volleyball competitions, talent show, debates and other competitions, and set up choirs and dance clubs. He said that these activities did not only improved his organizational leadership, but also made his life in ZJNU more colorful, for which he was very proud. He is also interested in sports including running, table tennis and badminton.

听完优秀留学生的报告，不少留学生仍心存疑惑，积极提出疑问。优秀留学生们耐心地给予解答。在问到如何平衡学习与课余的活动时，Denny说：“首先要以学习为重，在完成学业的前提下，再补充发展兴趣，科学安排时间。”有个同学因为语言的关系，无法理解老师的话，很丧气。Arnold鼓励他，让他永远不要放弃，如果真的听不懂，可以课后去咨询老师。

After listening to their lecture, many foreign students actively put forward their questions. Excellent International students patiently gave the answers. When asked how to balance study and extracurricular activities, Denny said: “First of all, we should attach great importance to study. On the premise of completing studies, we should supplement our interests and arrange our time scientifically.” One student was frustrated because he could not understand the teacher’s words because of the language. Arnold encouraged him to never give up. If he really doesn’t understand, he can ask the teacher after class.

三位优秀留学生的分享在掌声中结束了，邱洋海老师和叶杭丹老师给三位优秀留学生代表颁发了奖状与纪念品，并合照留念。本次“对话·青春”讲座给各位留学生们在浙师大的学习与生活做了一个成功的引导，祝愿所有的留学生能在师大学业有成。

The sharing of the three outstanding foreign students ended with audiences’ applause. Mr.Qiu and Miss.Ye presented certificates and souvenirs to the three lecturers and all together took a group photo as a good memory.This“Talk with Youth lecture provides a successful guide to the study and life of foreign students in the future. Wish all foreign students success in their studies in Zhejiang Normal University.
